Seed Swap!
18th March
If you are a gardener and a seed saver, mark March 24th on your calendar!
From 9:00am-1:00pm we will be opening our doors and clearing our tables to make way for local food potential. Bring your extra seeds, bedding plants, bulbs etc. and meet other gardeners in the area.
We are proud to support local food and believe seed saving is an integral part of food security. We are hoping this will be an annual event. With enough interest, we can make a weekend of it!
Preregistration is not required. It is a free event with the option to donate to the Women’s Resource Society of the Fraser Valley.

Dine Around Abbotsford
18th January
We are pleased to bring back our Dine Around Abbotsford dinner promotion for 20 days until February 4th. The popular event gives diners a chance to enjoy a sensational three course meal at an award winning restaurant at a value price of just $30 per person. Modeled after the popular Dine Out Vancouver, Dine Around Abbotsford was launched in 2006 by the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce to encourage locals and visitors to experience the city’s growing restaurant scene. In the event’s first year, several Abbotsford restaurants participated but once the chamber discontinued its support, the event lost its momentum. Since 2007, we have held our own Dine Around Abbotsford promotion even though we are now the only participating establishment. We hope that with its proven success, additional local restaurants will join us in promoting Abbotsford’s restaurant scene.
January 2012 Dine Around Menu:
Appetizers

Food Porn
28th June
Good photography in an industry where taste is everything is very important. It’s the difference between instant coffee and a fine espresso or canned pineapple and the real thing.
Really good food photography whets the appetite, arouses the senses and may even make you salivate.
Recently we booked a photo shoot with Rob Newell, a photographer we worked with a few months ago when Restaurant 62 was featured in Indulge Magazine. We were impressed with his work then and even more so the second time around.
Feast your eyes on some of our favourite shots.
